What) The "World's Largest Dinosaur" is the name of a model Tyrannosaurus rex located in the town of Drumheller. Built of fiberglass and steel, it has a height of 25 metres (82 ft) and a length of 46 metres (151 ft), making it considerably larger than the largest known specimens of the actual dinosaur which reached up to 12.8 m (42 ft) in length, and was up to 4 m (13 ft) tall at the hips. If you are willing to climb 106 stairs then you can enter the mouth of the statue and get a view of the Badlands, including the adjacent 23 metre (75 ft) water fountain, again one of the largest in Canada.     Why) Yes, yes.  I can already read your thoughts.  You think that this is just another large outdoor statue that Jason can't resist driving out of the way to visit.  Would you believe that we actually drove through Drumheller and by this statue two times and I didn't even once get out of the Jeep to take a picture or climb up the steps?  Even I can't believe it.  Of course, I am still going to show you some pictures of it now but you can skip them if you like.
