What) The Tridge is the formal name of a three-way wood footbridge above the confluence of the Chippewa and Tittabawassee Rivers near downtown Midland. Built in 1981, it consists of one 31-foot tall central pillar supporting three spokes. Each spoke is 180 feet long by 8 feet wide. The Tridge is a tourist attraction. It and its two surrounding parks are one of most popular leisure areas downtown. (1)

    Where) Ashman Street

Why) How could Pam not enjoy standing directly above the confluence of two rivers?

I got lucky today because the combination of decent light, no wind and good viewpoints allowed me to take some worthwhile pictures.

It also helps that the Tridge is full of nice curves.

I think they look great when reflected in the water.  Strangely though, the best reflective picture I took had ...

... nothing to do with the bridge at all.
