What) Designed by local architects in 1985, this unique fountain is situated in a small grassy park in Houston's busy Uptown-Galleria district. The structure is an enormous crescent-shaped wall that towers over 60 feet high and sends 11,000 gallons of water per minute cascading down into illuminated pools. Carved stairs and an archway make this a favorite place to visit for Houstonians and visitors.  There's also a great lawn surrounded by oak trees that's a lovely place to sit and admire the fountain.     Why) Although I'm not going to try and say it in words, let's just say the experience was exactly like I hoped it would be.

I liked this building that we saw while walking to the water wall.

The front water wall is just through that arch. Standing in front of it is the type of full sensual experience that can't be photographed.

Occasionally, I give this treatment to pictures that I like.

This is the back side of the wall.
