What) Here at American Science & Surplus, we are fascinated by discovery and invention. And, we are dedicated to having fun along the way. Value is important to us and, whenever we can, we carry surplus at prices well below retail. We love closeouts, inventory overruns, mis-manufactures and items whose time has not come. (1)

    Why) The store has a wall of pictures submitted by people who built projects from supplies that they purchased at the store.  I have to suspect that I would eventually submit a picture if I ever find myself living in the area.
