for why. Anyway, I was not keeping records on this trip
so I don't know if these pictures were from my first architectural tour of downtown
Houston or my second.
I liked the looks
of this older building.
I was tempted to
wander down here when this door opened but that didn't
seem wise.
I only
photographed this building after I had seen it's rather
unusual staircase.
The contrast
between the rust and the brick mesmerized me for at least
10 minutes.
The ending to this staircase is not as
nice as the beginning.
